Printing

I have been exploring different printing techniques. This is a selection of cyanotype prints I have made using local plants. I find they have a particular quality I love and i’ve been enjoying capturing their shapes in paper. It really brings a different perspective to their beauty.

I’ve used cuttings from plants from my balcony and printed them in different watercolour paper, which also bring different textures to the mix.

One of the things I have found interesting about this process is how little control one can have. There is a bit of technique and the rest is up for exploration and play.
